[SOLVED] overclocking ryzen 3 2200g

what are safe overclocks for this CPU and should I oc the CPU or just the GPU
I got a b450m pro-m2 MSI mobo I got the APU running at 1300mhz GPU and my ram is at 2667 I bosted it up to 2993.
first time Overclocking.

Keep it under 1.35v most will do 3.9ghz on stock cooler sometimes 3.8 is too warm. Not sure how the oced igpu will react temp wise. Just remember in nearly all cases the CPU oc won't matter gaming as the GPU will be the holdup. Definitely don't get overly aggressive with the CPU oc as it's simple useless most of the time

I went 3.7 GHz on the CPU I got like 80 Celsius playing D2

Dial back the voltage shouldn't need much if any above 1.18-1.20 for that speed

I’ve seen people get like 13-1500mghz on the gpu can’t get pass 1250mhz without blue screen

I've seen several people on here saying they were running 1300+ mhz and then a week later their cpu died. It might be a blessing in disguise

So good settings is at 3.7ghz cpu I think the voltage is 1.3v it’s msi oc genie for the cpu
2993 mhz on ram 16-18-18-18
And 1200mhz on gpu?

You want it lower than the genie voltage. Those things make way too much heat as they're designed to run with the worst chips
