[SOLVED] Overclocking Speed a bit with this ram?

Hi!

So I have 2x 8GB 2Rx8 of this RAM:
samsung ddr4 2666mhz 8gb m378a1g43tb1 - ctd

So i was wondering if I could safely overclock it to 2999mhz? coz my CPU cant handle max 2999
So it isn't a big difference thats why i thought that it should be pretty safe and easy?

If yes should I just set in in my UEFI settings to 2999MHz or do I have also change other things like voltage etc.?

No, it doesn't pay to OC by that much. More than likely you would have to raise CAS latency negating any gains from frequency.

Sry didn't exactly understand what u mean. So i can actually OC or is it not even worth it?

Depends on MB/BIOS and CPU but that much OC is not noticeable in real work or play.
