Overclocks for reference EVGA 980ti

I was just wondering how good is the overclocking on this card, with the reference design, because its base clock is 1000Mhz, and I saw other cards with over 1200Mhz. I am wondering if it was possible to overclock that high.

You wont see any performance difference and you can harm your gpu so dont even oc

I wouldn't say harm but if you can mess it up if you go to far.

I bought the ****92 version of evga's reference, the SC edition. Believe my one starts at 1100 something.

I have reference evga 980 ti and it is overclocked at 1268 base and 1475 turbo with no voltage increase. And yes you will see performance increases.

Not to hi jack OPs thread but can I ask? Do you have the same model as mine?

If so, can you tell me what your ASIC quality is thru GPUZ? I'm really curious.

63.5% for me on the ASIC

Anything over 70% tho is great

It's all a lottery, similar to overclocks on your processor too, unless you get the custom pcbs that are binned. But still, the 980 ti is still a great card, even with no additional oc or just minimal. 63% isn't bad I don't think, I wouldn't stress too much.

This is true. May Step Up tho to the Classified as its out now.

Download MSI afterburner and also download a benchmark such us Heaven benchmark and try to overclock a little bit everytime and put the fan speed higher if you have temps over 65c and put the bechmark on its full settings
