The Corning Fiber Optic Thunderbolt Cables are cheaper than this, and they have way better signal over long distances, plus they can be bent 180 degree's or knotted (not that you'd need to knot your cables )

Wow, these carry a hefty premium. I get that there is a base price for the connectors but really what's the deal with the cable? Per M they go:M $ per M0.5 $55.981 $34.992 $20.003$15.0010 $31.9020$30.9530 $29.97Not seeing why the massive premium for the longer cables. Fail.
