THats what i jsut got
p4 2.26 533 fsb on a asus p4b533 Mobo
ANd i wanted to ask if anyone had tried to overclock their p4 (preferably the p4a with 533 fsb)
ANd was it easy/stable
Or just not a good idea plain and simple?

I've got my 1.6A at ~2.5 (155 FSB). Really easy and perfectly stable.

Yeah, I'm running a 2.6A @ 2.5. :lol:

d00d, people in here have been overclocking their 1.8 Northwood (512k) Pentium 4's to 2.7GHz. In fact, due to it's higher multiplier, the "1.8A" is often a better choice for top speed.

What's the frequency, Kenneth?

i didn't understand. a lower 1.8 cpu can be more overclockable and even it can be overclocked to 2.7Ghz wich is above the frequency of that p4?
