p4 dual channel

I have a dual channel motherboard and currently have a 512mb of pc3500 i was wonderinghow much improvement would i get if i bought a second 512 to take advantage of the dual channel.

I can't quantitate a value for you, but considering how bandwidth intensive the P4 is, running it with half of it's intended bandwidth is likely bottlenecking you. So I'd imagine that running it DC would give a significant performance boost because it'd be removing that bottleneck.

Since you aren't even telling us anything else about your system though it's kind of hard to say with 100% certainty.
