Hello,

I have a ASUS P4P800 Deluxe motherboard. I have updated the bios from 1014
to 1019, becuase I had problems with the boot priority sequence when using
USB harddisk device.

After I updated to bios version 1019 the boot screen for the Intel raid
controlles has disapeared.

The system disk is placed in a raid 1 on two S-ATA drives. The system starts
ok up on WinXPpro.

But it is not possibel to acces the Intel Raid controller during boot.

In the bios S-ATA is activated and boot-rom is enabled.

Can anyone help me with this problem (I works fine as it is, but it is not
possible to reconfigure my Intel raid during complete ney installation)?

Have you tried "Load Setup Defaults" in the BIOS ?

Have you tried "Clearing the CMOS" (CLRTC jumper) ?

See the manual for the correct procedure - remember to
unplug the computer before doing the clear CMOS procedure,
to avoid the possibility of damage via the +5VSB supply.

Maybe one of those two options will make the RAID come back.
You will need to set up the BIOS options again, after
trying those two possible solutions. Write the custom BIOS
settings down on a piece of paper before proceeding.

I have tryed to load setup defaults!

I have not tried to clear my cmos and I don't wan't to do that, because I
know that if I flash back the 1014 bios the Intel Raid boot menu comes up
again during boot. Based on that I don't think that clearing the cmos will
help!

Any other ideas?
