There are problems while trying to boot from a USB stick (Kingston
bottable DataTraveller Elite 1Gbyte). Which BIOS settings are
recommended?

just be sure that "boot to usb" is enabled in the bios and that the
usb stick has bootable files on it...
I made mine by copying a win98 boot floppy to my usb stick...

I don't quite understand what your asking, but I guess we need to know
what o/s you are using first.
If your refferring to the "emulation" in the bios setting, it would be
"floppy" emulation and you would still need to prepare the usb stick
with bootable files just like a boot floppy, just not the same way...
