I have a p4t-e with a 2ghz and i've just bought a 3ghz and p4c800-e deluxe.
Reading you original post you seem to say that you are only going to upgrade
the cpu and wait until BTX comes out. If that is the case I wouldn't bother
getting the faster processor. You won't really notice the speed increase. I
upgraded my system but left my old geforce 3 in as I'm waiting for the
nvidia 6800 to come out and although it benches faster it doesn't really
feel much faster certainly not worth spending money on. My 2ghz used to max
out the geforce 3 so even games aren't faster with the 3ghz.
