Hello,

so the setup I am currently running is this:

GPU: GTX 1060 3GB Jetstream
CPU: Ryzen 7 1700
RAM: 16GB DDR4 3000MHz (Corsair Vengeance - CMK16GX4M2D3000C16)

When I'm at idle, literally nothing open except this forum, my GPU idle temp seems to be sitting around 50/52c, which after having a Google seems to be a little high? Users with the same GPU report back that they get idle temps of around 30/35? So I'm just curious as to why mine would be sitting around the 50c mark?

Also, another GPU question I have, I'm 90% sure the fans on the card don't kick in until it reaches 60c? Is there anyway I can alter that, I'd prefer them to come on once the card reaches 50c.. But can't seem to figure out a way to do so? Anyone able to help?

Thanks,

Dan!

Does Google say anywhere how experienced is PALIT at making graphic cards ?
Technically, the card has specific temperature control profile.
Idle temperatures they are insignificant especially if you are not mention your own room temperature (ambient temperature ) and this be measured by a true quality thermometer.

Additionally does Google say anywhere how much money the other people invested at getting a high quality regarding cooling ability of PC case ( tower) ?

Low temperatures in summer time by Air cooling this translates that someone has invested money combined with experience at the selection of very specific products.
