Hello, anyone know if the Fujitsu SnapScan S1500 is compatible with PaperPort 14 in a Windows 7 64bit setup?
Hello,
I use this configuration with PP 14 on 64-bit Windows7 Pro.
TWAIN drivers are not available for the Fujitsu S1500 so it cannot be configured directly into PP 14. You can, however, use the SnapScan Manager application bundled with the S1500 to drop scanned items onto the PP 14 desktop. I have the SnapScan Manager (only; the other bundled app's are not necessary) installed on the Win 7 machine.
Configure the SnapScan Manager "Scan button settings..." to use the "Scan to file" application and specify your PaperPort 14 desktop directory as the "Image saving folder". You can create a new profile for this, or simply change the saving directory on the default Standard profile. Alternatively, you can configure the "Scan to folder" application in the SnapScan Manager. This will cause a popup to appear for each scanned image where you can add properties prior to the image being saved on the PP 14 desktop.
