Question Parents tracking internet activity

Hello
I need some help. My parents monitor my internet usage all the time and I don’t mean search history but they go into the modem website or the router website I’m not too sure and they monitor the usage. I tried VPN but that doesn’t work. All I’m trying to do is to play some games after I’m done all my work.
