Hello,
so i guess the question is really simple.
I would like to calculate what the dimensions of a passive cooler to cool my card should be.
For instance if i have a gpu gtx 1050 ti which draws 75 watts (100 watts peak), its surface is 200cm2, outside air is 25C and i would like to keep the card below 90C all times.
What should be the dimensions of an aluminium block (thermal conductivity of aluminum is 170 W/mK) to cool my chip?
Assuming there is sufficient space inside the case.
I assume this is a subject in faculty of mechanical engineering - heat exchange.
Thanks a lot,
Rok.
