Hello,
I have built my first mini ITX pc. It has been an exciting journey and I want to stretch it a bit further integrating the audio part.
I have this pair of old but great Apple Pro Speakers that sound really good and want to hack them to connect directly to the pc. It s this spherical transparent speakers, pretty iconic.
I found a way to get around the custom apple power/input jack on this website:
There we see that the speakers are finally "linked to the output of an audio amplifier. At the moment I have mine wired up to a bluetooth amplifier like this one:

This board will provide signal and power up the speakers recognizing their required voltage.
This board though requires 4speakers cables to be plugged in (in an old fashioned way). And it needs an external power supply.
My goal is to have that board replaced by a component within my mini ITX. Maybe some type of audio card which permits speakers cables to be wired in, and that would also power up these passive speakers.
I have looked it up on the web, but I cannot figure it out. It would be great to receive your advise!
