1 what is a vso device ?
2 And on win 7 I get a driver error
" Patin Couffin engine for 64 bits systems (Amd)" on the device manager .
please assist I am new to 7

Im pretty sure you are using VSO ConvertXtoDVD. This is a software from the french company VSO. This is a layer similar to the ASPI windows layer. If you dont want this problem, remove the program. Sorry my poor english.

i installed magic dvd ripper and converting a dvd to avi right now.
an unknown usb device and patin couffin engine for 64 bits systems amd appeared and my attached webcam is on for some reason.

windows 7 ultimate 64 bit.
