Patriot 2133mhz ram reverts to 1333mhz on X79 mobo

I have Patriot 16GB (4 x 4GB) PC-17000 (2133MHz) Enhanced Latency Quad Kit on the RIVE

The memory reverts to 1333mhz and I can't get it to boot windows when set at 2133mhz. I've tried 11-11-11-27 1.5v & 11-11-11-30 1.65v (as stated by the official Patiot website) and neither work. Anyone know some settings that will work for these at 2133?

Interesting specs I must say, and oddly quick that it was Deactived.

F5 Load Defaults, and modify other BIOS settings as needed
AI Overclock Tuner -> XMP & Profile1
VCCSA -> Manual
VCCSA Voltage -> 1.20v
F10 Save & Exit = Yes

-I just got the Rampage IV Extreme mobo flashed bios to newest version1404
-CPU-Z: XMP-2134: 1067mhz, tRC 51, Command Rate 3T, voltage 1.650v

Bios Profile- states VCSSA 1.350v, I set it before with no luck, but ill give 1.20v a shot

I mean this very sincerely, RMA that kit for something else like they're the plague, and do not I repeat do not allow the VCSSA Voltage >1.20v so run them at their Defaults.

There are (2) two voltages that are known to permanently degrade the SB-E CPU: 1. vCore of 1.55v and higher and 2. VCCSA of 1.35v and higher. This permanent degradation happens in a matter of hours and not days, weeks or months, but hours!

So I can certainly understand why those kits have been Deactived so quickly. We might as well play air hockey with your CPU -- it would be safer for it.

Please heed my advice. I concur those are indeed the worst kits I ever seen and worst a real danger -- it's scary that Patriot would have allowed them to be sold.
