Hi everyone!!

I have been experiencing non stop crashes, blue screen, random system restarts. I tried my best to find the issue but no matter what I try I found no luck.

To set the scene, I recently upgraded both my cpu, motherboard, and gpu aswell as added an extra nvme ssd. I went for a ryzen 7 2700x to a ryzen 9 5900x, msi x470 pro carbon to asus b550- f gaming wifi, gtx 1080 to a 1080ti I borrowed from a friend until I save enough for a new one. I want to add that the 1080ti is missing a fin on one of the fans, also it has an aftermarket motor on another fan.

Now for the blue screens, I got a varity of different codes, all of them are pointing to a driver issue. which one I have no clue. the latest stop code was "Kernel_Security_check_failure" as well as "IRQL_not_less_or_equal". Investigating further in windows "Security and maintenance I found this information for the different shutdowns/restarts:

These are a latest 6 crashes that happened in the last 3 days.

So far I eliminated the ram out of the equation, I did extensive stress testing on the ram on a separate bootable drive to run memtest.

Also here I have a picture of the currently downloaded non microsoft drivers:

I would be so greatfull if someone could take a look at this and help me out. I have till the 30th to submit my uni work and I cant work with this going on because I keep losing progress!!

Hello.

Just to check, after you changed components....the OS was installed as new installation right?

Seems like a driver compatibility problem.
No unfortunately I didn't do a clean install, I had to keep on my old install because I could find an easy and safe way to keep all my data. I do stream as well, and I cant afford to lose all my different saved scenes and settings!!

I also forgot to mention that I heard a usb disconnect sound when the pc crashed last time!!

So basically, you have a driver problem here. I suggest you start with clean drivers. At this point you have all your old drivers from the old GPU and motherboard, that is making conflict with the new ones and that can cause the BSOD

Do you know of a way I can do a clean install while keeping all of my data, like apps, games, pictures, documents, etc?

Thank you!
