I've had my PC for almost a year now (built it myself) and for almost as long as I can remember I've had a bootloop issue. It never really bothered me much, but I think it's time I try and fix it.
The Problem: Some days I will turn off or restart my pc after some gaming and movie watching. After it gets past the shut down/ restart screen it starts to reboot, then just shuts down again. Nothing fully turns on (not even the lights on my mouse and keyboard) and nothing can be done to stop it. After about 5 minutes it will finish and boot up fine (resetting any CPU OC'ing I've done). Then it works fine again for a few hours, days, weeks until it randomly happens again.
At first I thought it was my GPU overclock, so I reset to default settings. Then I thought it was my CPU overclock, so I reset that to default as well. But the problem persisted. Now I'm kind of at a wall, so I'm coming here to find a solution hopefully.
It should also be noted that the issue usually occurs after a few (5-7) hours of operation usually including a combination of gaming and netflix, youtube, and VLC watching.
PC Specs:
MSI Z87-GD65A Motherboard
Intel 4670K (Default 3.4Ghz)
EVGA GTX780 SC/ACX with latest drivers (Default Speed)
8GB of Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz RAM
Corsair HX750 Gold Powersupply
Samsung 840. 120GB SSD
Seagate Barracuda 7200RPM HDD
Running Windows 8.1 Pro
Thank you in advance.
