I have a
Intel i5 7600k
Gtx 980
Fairly new SanDisk SSD as my boot drive
Asus H270 Mobo
My PC was running fine yesterday, put it into sleep mode before I went to sleep. Came home from work the next day and started my PC to a black screen. My motherboard LEDs have reverted back to the default red(was purple). Doing a couple hours of research online it feels like my motherboard crapped out on me.
When I boot there is no motherboard logo, it doesn't got to a Windows logo,it just goes straight to a black screen. I've switched to my onboard display and still nothing, so I know it's not my 980. I've used different display cables and monitors so Ive eliminated those symptoms. The only thing I can think of is a Mobo problem. I've tried pressing f8 or escape on startup to boot into something else. But no luck at all...
I'm writing this in hopes someone will tell me exactly what my problem is, before buying a new motherboard which I've planned on anyways.
Willing to send a video to anyone who's interested in helping. Thanks!
