Question PC boots to bios over and over but has a bootable device

So I was having issues before with no bootable device but now it has a bootable device and still boots straight to bios and after I save and exit boots to it again over and over

Have you got a spare usb drive? You don't even need to have an OS to see if it's bootable

Modern motherboards will go straight to UEFI if there is a component fault apart from memory (from my experience) and especially CPU has developed a fault

I can put pieces together but that’s the extent of my knowledge sadly, usually I figure things out by trying everything until something works, so what do I need to try?
