Hi guys
I need some help to build my first pc
Budget:1000 euro
Pc is for programming and gaming,
AMD BUILD
monitor:Gigabyte Aorus CV27Q Curved Gaming Monitor 27" QHD 2560x1440 165Hz I already have bought it at 300 euro.

pc case: be quiet! Pure Base 500DX midi gaming case

motherboard: MSI MPG B550 Gaming Plus Motherboard ATX

Gpu: I will wait for prices to go down, probably one 3060 later

Cpu: AMD Ryzen 7 5700G 3.8GHz

Ram: Crucial Ballistix 16GB DDR4-3600MHz (BL2K8G36C16U4B)

power supply: Seasonic G12 GC 650W Full Wired 80 Plus Gold

Storage: Samsung MZ-V7S1T0BW SSD 970 EVO Plus 1 TB M.2 Internal NVMe SSD from my old laptop

Cooling: Arctic Liquid Freezer II 240

INTEL BUILD
pc case: 1x be quiet! Pure Base 500DX midi gaming case

motherboard: 1x MSI PRO Z690-A WIFI DDR4

Gpu: I will wait for prices to go down, probably one 3060 later.

Cpu: 1x Intel Core i5 12600K tray

Ram: 1x G.Skill Trident Z 16GB DDR4 16GTZSK K2

power supply: 1x be quiet! System Power 9CM

Storage: Samsung MZ-V7S1T0BW SSD 970 EVO Plus 1 TB M.2 Internal NVMe SSD from my old laptop

Cooling: 1x Arctic Liquid Freezer II 240

This are the 2 builds I thought but probably I will go with Intel because in almost same money I get better performance.

I want your opinion what build is value for money and what should I change in my builds.
Any opinion is appreciated

Thanks in advance!!

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

You can ditch the idea of an aftermarket cooler on the AMD build and you actually save a lot more money. Yes you get more out of the i5 but for the sort of titles you're going to be gaming while on the i5's iGPU, you'd wish you got the APU instead. Looking at the ram kit on the Intel side, you're going down a notch with DDR4-3200Mhz rams, if I'm mistaken, it's due to the lack of info parsed above.

In fact,
Pc is for programming and gaming
You didn't mention the titles you plan to game on the system nor the app's you'd be using to do your programming work on said system.

Lastly, which System Power 9CM are you looking at?

Thanks for the welcome,
Yes Lutfij that was my first thought I will buy the ryzen 7 5700g with the aftermarket cooler but if you have a good cooler you have better performance from integrated graphics
Yes I am goind down to DDR4-3200Mhz on intel because I saw in their site this Up to DDR4 3200 MT/s, Up to DDR5 4800 MT/s and I thought is irrelevant to buy more than 3200 maybe I am mistaken

Ok you are right the pc is for programming
  1. Visual Studio
  2. Android Studio
  3. 1-2 VMs
  4. Install Oracle
  5. And probably more in the future
Now Games that I play currently because I dont have a good laptop is Leauge of Legends that it dont need high performance graphic card to play
after I will install the graphic card Pubg,Call of Duty, God Of war etc

be quiet! System Power 9CM 700 watts

First of all thanks for your time to help,
I dont want to waste my money on a 3050 is not a good option I think, If the price of Gpu's drop is better to go for a 3060 at ~650 euro

And with that money now I can get a 12600k better performance and better case for air flow and berformance after all.

Also you didnt add a cpu cooler is that by mistake or intentional.

About motherboard as I said to my friend above is not better to go for a z690 motherboard for future upgrades on DDR5.

And finally I can't order parts out of Europe and better to order from 1 site so the shipping will not cost much.

Thanks again

The 12600K is an excellent cpu. It's going to be a few years from now before DDR5 goes mainstream. The prices and availability are horrible as is the latency.

I'm going to throw this out here just so you have more options. The 12500 has the better integrated graphics (UHD 770) vs the 12400 (UHD 730).

ASUS TUF GAMING B660M-PLUS WIFI D4 is 183 https://www.computeruniverse.net/en/p/90853363 and

MSI PRO Z690-A WIFI DDR4 is 219 https://www.computeruniverse.net/en/p/90848751 or

ASUS PRIME Z690-P WiFi D4 is 241,98 https://www.computeruniverse.net/en/p/90849130

There is more than a few combo's you can put together.

Folks have their opinion about the best combo.
The first item is budget.

Here's my opinion.
If you want to game with the igp go with the 5700g.

I would look at the 12500/600 with the stock cooler.
I don't want the K model/125 watt space heater and then need an aftermarket cooler.

2x ram for dual channel.

A B660 mobo the size and features I want.
