Building a PC with a budget of around $600 ($650 if needed) and come up with a choice between two graphics cards, I do some heavy gaming from time to time but I do things like video rendering and whatnot.

I'd just like advice from someone experienced on the best way to spend $600-$650 on a PC build that is great for gaming, and can be upgraded (CPU, GPU) without any motherboard compatibility issues in the future, whats the best build that my budget can possibly get?

Here's the build:

The R9 380's a pretty good card, so you shouldn't have too much trouble in games. As for rendering, you'll get better performance out of something that has more than 4 cores/threads. Such as a Xeon E3 1231 v3. But you should get relatively good performance from what you've got there.

Well, I think I'll just stick to the i5, about the graphics cards, which do you think go best near my budget $150-$210 and is a very good graphics card? (Can play Far Cry 4 on High 60 FPS) or GTA V On Very High/Ultra with 60 FPS

$210 max gets you an R9 380 or a GTX 960 and they are both approximately on par for performance, with people arguing both ways for which one is better.

And I forgot to mention that the Xeon would run closer to $200-$230, so you can stick with the i5 and see how that works out for you.
