Question Can anyone explain this crash report please

It is from a game called satisfactory , when the game does NOT crash after saving and going to the desktop i look at my steam list and at the satisfactory name it shows the cloud save symbol , the game icon , the name satisfactory and 100% at the side of it , eventually the 100% disappears and it says satisfactory experimental as it should.

When i exit the game i know if it is going to crash ...... in my steam listing it will say satisfactory running , and the text is in green not blue ?????

One thing puzzling me is the second sentence ...... it refers to UE4 Engine .......... the game uses UE5 ...... other players have been reporting this type of crash for many months but it has only started happening to me over the last few days and i have not changed anything.

FOOTNOTE ...... as i posted this those smiley faces appeared , i did not put them their.

There was update to the beta experimental branch few weeks ago.

Patch notes: https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/526870/view/520837042930712785

satisfactory experimental
Since you're playing beta and rather full/stable build, bugs/issues/crashes are given. If you do not want those issues, do not play the beta (experimental) version of Satisfactory.

in my steam listing it will say satisfactory running , and the text is in green not blue ?????
In Steam:
Green game name = game is running
Blue game name = game is closed and is syncing to Steam or is waiting for update ("Update Queued") or downloading update
White game name = game is installed and ready to play
Gray game name = game is in your library but not installed

hi their .... i have been on experimental for a very long time and use it every day so i am aware of all the patches , i think you missed part of what i am puzzling over , the green meaning game running normally changes to blue within seconds of going back to desktop but the last few days it has stayed green running until i get the crash report

I already did that but not had a reply
Depending on devs, they may or may not reply.

For the most part, devs do receive your bug report but when game is famous with tens of thousands of players, devs may get thousands of bug reports and they possibly can't reply to all of them. When the game is small (e.g indie), then dev may reply to your bug report.

Over the years, i've also reported countless of bugs within many games i've played. For me, it has been very rare to get a response back.

But if you absolutely need a reply back (even if you want validation that your bug report made it to the devs), then you could post it on Satisfactory community. E.g on their Discord or Reddit channel,
contacts: https://www.satisfactorygame.com/#community

so thats why i posted here
Folks here aren't affiliated with the Satisfactory game and due to that, we can't help you with your issue.

Now, if issue would be software (OS) or hardware, then there are troubleshooting steps. But since your issue is with specific game and that with it's beta version, best ask from the game's community.

Thanks for your feedback i posted here on the off chance somebody might know the answer.
BTW i use ESET anti virus and it wont let me use discord it says it contains suspicious material , maybe thats what is know as a false positive.

ESET Nod32 used to be good, 10 years ago or so. Nowadays, not so much.

Currently, MalwareBytes is one of the better ones. It has both the Free/Trial version and Premium version (subscription based, annual payments). I have MWB Premium in use for the past 3-4 years now. Both in our PCs and also in our laptops and even in our smart phones.

Sophos is a good, alternative. It’s fairly lightweight, no ads, quick and effective. I don’t hear good or bad reports about it. After 10 years use in windows (free and paid) I have no complaints.

i use malwarebytes free and run windows defender once a week. Many years ago i had a pc that had tons of problems it ran very slow but i could not find out why ..... A local shop sold me webroot spysweeper and it found some keyloggers and a few other nasties but now you can only get it as part af an anti virus package.

Well, malware doesn't infect the PC just because PC is powered on. One has to do something nefarious to get the PC infected.

If there is an infection already in place, either use free AV programs to get rid of them, OR if it's no help, format all your drives and make a clean OS installation. New OS installation gets rid of all software issues and malware as well (except firmware rootkits).

All-in-all, if you have good hygiene when surfing the web, malware isn't an issue. Still, it would be good to keep one or two AV programs around for redundancy.
E.g Windows built-in firewall and AV program (Windows Defender) is good for 90% of the time and enough for most people. For added security, you can use 2nd AV program as well, if you like (e.g like i'm using MWB Premium).

In today's day and age, one needs to be cybersecurity expert to keep their PC infection free. And with that, i've actually gone above and beyond to keep my systems tight and running like a well oiled clock. :)

This reminds me a good quote:
If you spend more on coffee than on IT security, you will be hacked.
What’s more, you deserve to be hacked.

So true. :)

I know how i got all the infections that day .... a family friend who was doing some decorating for me heard me talking to my wife about buying a cd ..... and can you believe whilst we were in the kitchen he turned on my pc and installed a file share program and got the album ..... i was so mad i told him to pack his gear up and leave.

LimeWire? Torreting?
Actually doesn't matter since when using such sources, malware is given.
Live and learn, as they say. :)

For future protection, do enable log-in during power up. Win7/10/11 all have the log-in or pin that you need to enter to access local account on PC. Older OSes (e.g WinXP) didn't have that, but there were other protections you could've used. Heck, even way back, in Intel 386/486 era, i had it set up from BIOS as such, where after POST, one needed to enter correct password, else-ways, PC didn't boot into OS.
