So im planning to upgrade build and currently have the :
gtx 1070
i5-6600k
asus z170 matx
850 watt powersupply

any tips or ideas for the rest of the build?

little side question is the CPU/mobo i have worth about 300-350 if i do end up buying it lightly used?

but editing in that can u go for i7 processor or i xeon processor in intel?

Don't "pick him as ur solution" because when people ask for that they have ulterior motives in mind.
I don't care if you pick me or ANYONE as a solution. These "trophies" mean nothing to me.
A newer build will ONLY support DDR4 so might as well go for it.
 

Ryzen has had good reviews- haven't heard anything about heat issues. However, they have so far been slower at gaming than Intel... but it's a brand new architecture and may be as good when more optimizations are released. Also, AMD tends to not change their socket requirements (aka need a new mobo for the latest cpu) as often as Intel so it's worth considering.
