I was using a corsair 780t case with an msi krait z170 gaming motherboard. Corsair h115i liquid cooler, corsair 850 psu and a 6600k. I received my new corsair 570x case connected the basic components such as 24x pin connector. And 6 pin connector front io connectors, your general things in order to make a computer turn on. I have verified from my motherboard manufacturer manual to make sure i have properly placed the front io connecters onto the correct spot 6 times. Verified all components all connected properly. My psu has a fan test mode on it so I know it has power. Have I recieved a dead 570x case (front io connecters) I wear rubber gloves to install/switch over components. What more can I do to try and make the computer turn on? I get no power no fans spin nothing. Pc seems dead

Edit: One last note the 570x already has stand offs I did not need to install new ones.

now I would look to the motherboard. on the bottom edge of the motherboard there is a 4 pin header labeled JFP2. that is where the Diagnostic speaker connects. the case may have a speaker, the speaker is the motherboards main diagnostic feedback. find a speaker, any speaker and connect it to the outer 2 pins on that header. once the speaker is connected boot and see if you are getting any beeps, the motherboard may be telling you what is wrong. if nothing still remove all the RAM from the system and attempt to boot. the motherboard should beep at you like an angry driver in a traffic jam. in my experience if you cannot force the motherboard to spit out a beep code in this way the motherboard is toast...
test that the switch is the issue, short the two pins the power switch connects to with a conductor, screwdriver, paperclip, etc.
just touch the two pins with the conductor and see if the system boots. if the system does not boot your issue lies elsewhere, in which I suggest you look through here

are you sure there were no standoffs that needed to be removed? maybe a rogue standoff is grounding the works.

Tried every step on the list. The only one I have not tried is a different psu. I get zero power I disassembled everything and redid the build still nothing. Trying a different psu now
