Question PC completely shuts down when playing csgo

So I got a new cpu(ryzen 5 2600) and I installed csgo. But then the first time it crashed I thought it was because I over locked the CPU to 4ghz and so I turned it down to 3.9 and the voltage a tad. But then it still happens and whenever it happens I have to unplug the cable leading to the PSU and plug it in again. Then the PC actually turns back on but I don't know if this is a PSU issue or something else. My temps on my 2600 are mid 60's highest and 49 degrees lowest with an average temp of 57 at 40% usage. Help me pls

What wattage is your PSU? It could just be that there is an overload and it keeps shutting down because it can't keep up.

It's a thermaltake 750w PSU but it looks pretty old as my cousin game me the case PSU and fans

My best recommendation is to try a different PSU with the same amount of wattage. If it still keeps crashing then it could be your RAM.

It shouldn't be as some games can run DDR2. What I mean is that the RAM just randomly fails (This can actually happen)

Start with full specs of your system (model names of):

cpu (overclocked?),​

motherboard,​

gpu (overclocked?),​

ram,​

psu,​

hdd/ssd,​

pc case,​

any additional pci/pcie cards.​

Include this info in your first post. Currently we have info only about cpu and psu.

Try resetting CPU overclock through AMD master. This is what helped me when I messed up something when I tried to overclock my 2600.
Not a full solution but you may try.
