I am encountering a crash after starting up a game this causes my PC to disconnect from my monitor or something, after this i have to restart my PC to get it working again. This is happening pretty much every time on steam games like dead island and borderlands 2 but also with things like over watch but on the other hand other games like witcher and league of legends run fine.
I don't have any idea of why this could be happening.

My specs:
Intel Core i7-4790K CPU 4.00GHz
Ram 8.00 Windows 10 64bit GPU: Asus Strix R9 Fury

Solution
His PC isn't restarting itself, for some reason it's disabling the output to the monitor. Can you try plugging it in to a different monitor or a TV and see if it still doesn't work? Also, if it is only a couple of games try verifying the game cache on steam (Right click on the game(s), click properties, under local files tab you should see "Verify integrity of game cache", click it and it will check to make sure your game isn't corrupted).
The only thing I can recommend is get the newest drivers. Unless they have a bug they should be the best chance at fixing your problem, and if they do either revert to an older driver (I'm not well-versed in current AMD drivers so you can most likely find a tutorial on google on how to get slightly older drivers) or wait it out until they fix it.

Also, if updating the driver is unsuccessful, it may be worth it to try and completely remove all drivers for the gpu. You can use:

http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html

and then reinstall current driver. Before you uninstall the drivers, it's best to boot into safe mode. The program itself will prompt you to do that if you choose "restart into safe mode." I was having a somewhat different issue with my GPU and this helped. It's basically a way to reset everything on the GPU without doing a reformat or something.

No i have water cooling.

Just an idea,

"With Steam's Big Picture mode you can now choose on which monitor games should be running from the settings menu in BP."

Do you think its trying to output steam games to a different monitor?
