My computer is crashing randomly & instantly. (no BSoD's) and also when i play and watch videos online they are black and i can hear the audio but there is no video.

sometimes my screen goes black and then goes back and the video is green and says my graphics card has stopped responding. Firefox is always crashing and I'm getting these a lot.

the "Warning unresponsive plugin" happens a lot when I'm watching you tube and other stuff. the other errors only happened once but i don't know what caused it.

as usual please no 2-bit answers telling me to update my drivers. everything is up to date and i highly doubt a virus is causing this so please no answers on scanning for virus's.

There you go <3

Not going to tell you to update your drivers. But uninstall your current ones and download some fresh ones from the amd website. Install those.

Make sure your gpu is seated properly and fully into the motherboard slot. Take it out and reinsert it to double check. A loose gpu can cause those symptoms.

But considering the error you're getting is that it has stopped responding its most likely the drivers. That issue happens too often and people just don't ever take the time to uninstall the drivers. Don't knock it till you try it 😛

Okay, I've removed my graphics card & blew it out with canned air as well as the graphics card slot. put it all together nice and tight. Now how to i correctly remove all AMD related drivers and reinstall them?

Go to programs and uninstall the amd stuff. Specifically the driver. Then you can go to your C: drive and delete the and folder.

Download the latest beta drivers from amd's website and then install those in administrative mode.

Then you should be all set. (If that was indeed the issue)

Solution
error codes:
Error code: (HRESULT) 0x8000ffff (2147549183) - Catastrophic failure
not sure what error code 0x80041003 is
you might run this fix it from microsoft:
https://support2.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-US;2545227
problem is it just might be turning off the logging of the error rather than actually fixing the error.
I can not tell from the description.

I would assume your gpu is overheating.

Okay Mysticking32, you commented the same thing 3x delete the other 2

I'm not gonna run it without my card & my GPU never goes over 60 degrees, when im playing GTA 5 i put my fans up to 60% to it doesnt overheat and I'm always watching the heat with Speed fan.

I'm gonna do reinstall the graphics card drivers and files like Mysticking32 said. I'll keep you guys posted :0 thank you very much for the quick responses everyone 😀

Try with anothe resolution, another cable and another Display, I'm having the same issue and seems like there is no solution, I changed MOBO, CPU, RAM, HD, PSU.. the video card is not faulty and the monitor is not faulty but in certain conditions it crashes. I tried changing resolution and the crashes are gone, this is not a solution but just a way to figure out where is the problem, try it to exclude those hardwares

the instant crashed have stopped, keep not that the crashes were only happening what i was playing GTA V [which is very unstable for videographics stuff] rarely now does my shortwave plugin crash
