Hello,

CPU: Ryzen 5 3600
MOBO: Gigabyte B450 Aorus Elite
RAM: 32GB 4x8GB Kingston
GPU: 1660 Super
Storage: Crucial P3, Kingston SSD
PSU: LYNX ATX-500WA-87

I have my PC working for more than 3 months now. I left the house for two days, shutting the PC down normally like I always do.

I came back and when I powered the PC on I heard quite a loud noise like when a cable is stuck in a fan. I then looked inside and there was no cable, nothing. So I tried again and the PC turns on but there is no display. I noticed there is a red CPU light on MOBO. The front panel power button works for turning on but when held it does not respond (should turn off pc, worked for the first boot). I tried using only one RAM, resitting and repasting the CPU, resetting CMOS (taking it out and shorting pins), reconnecting front panel cabels, unplugging unused HDD and CD ROM and Im desperate now.

Please, ideas what to do? What could be faulty?

i think it would be psu might of went bang
Do you think that could be the case even though the Motherboard lights up and the PC turns on? I originaly thought that would be the case, because the loud sound would not be the GPU I think, because it boots up and both fans spin OK, the CPU fan also works perfectly so that would make sense that the PSU just blew up? Could it be partially delivering power or the wrong amount?
