Hello,

I have bought a prebuilt PC almost 4 years ago. Intel I7-7700K, MSI H110-M PRO-D, GTX1080, 450W PSU. Until now almost no problems, but today when I was playing Medieval Dynasty, it shut down and never came back. Steps I tried:

  • Tried old + new PSU, both inside MB and outside with clip trick to boot it. Both PSUs are ok
  • MB actually works with 24 pin, but when connecting 4pin CPU, it does not respond to powering and EZ DEBUG CPU blinks red once, for a half second
  • Removed 1 and then all the RAMs
  • Removed GPU
  • Unplugged all other devices (SSD,HDD,DVD)

When I leave 4pin cpu connector out and use just 24 pin, the cpu cooler + eternal coolers work. Also GPU cooler works if GPU is inserted. Opened CPU (there are no pins) and it looked ok and it still had thermal pasta. So is MB or CPU dead is this case?
