So one day I turned on my computer and instead of the mix-match 10 gb memory I had, my system was showing 6 gb, after running memtest86, reseating all the memory(Changing slots) and looking for faulty ram nothing semed to work .Running with 1 sticks, it gave 4, running with 2 sticks it gave 6, you would think that putting a 4th one would yield 8 but no. Still 6 no matter the pattern I used.
For worse Speccy and memtest86 shows I have 10 gb of ram size when all sticks are in but system and bios still show 6 as installed. I came to this forum because besides buying 100 dollars worth of ddr3 ram that may not even work I don't see any other solution.(I might upgrade to DDR4 in a few months so it would be a waste). Thanks for reading
