Hi all. I upgraded my main C:\ drive to a new NVMe drive a year and a half ago due to my previous SSD no longer having the space (128gb vs 500gb) and i used Macrium Reflect to clone the drive. The annoyance I have had since then was I cannot reboot my pc at all, the pc hangs on the default power stage after saying its rebooting, with pc lighting on, etc. Same with shutdown. Can only hold the power button to shut it off and then boot it up like normal. PC also refused to boot (which i found out early on) without a secondary drive having a working OS installed (i have to click which drive i want to boot from during the startup process). All of this is moreso just an annoyance as windows has no issues while on (Win10) its just the whole reboot/shutdown issue. If i load into the other drive, i can reboot/shutdown etc without issue. Its just this drive I cloned. If i have to wipe it out i would rather just keep it as is cuz like i said its just an annoyance and windows still works, but is there a way to fix this within windows? Thanks in advance for help.

You can try to scan/repair the hard drive for errors using a command prompt (run as Administrator) with the following cammands..

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
(Press Enter)

then let it finish, then type..

sfc /scannow
(Press Enter)

After completing both scans close the command prompt window and reboot to see if it fixed the problem.
