I'm building a computer for a friend for under $700.. will this do?
he wants to overclock also

he is going to be editing videos, but he wants it really cheap; can he go any cheaper? he hates vista so he's going to use XP

Yep on the Xig + bracket.

I think maybe you aren't going to build a decent video editing machine on that budget though. Also, for video editing and not gaming, an ATI card would likely be better then the GeForce.

im sure anything is better than his p4 2.8 and 512 mb of ram :D
