Hi , recently i upgraded my pc but i feel like it didn't improve much on fps. I'm still getting low fps when i think i should be getting more?.. On RDR2 i'm getting roughly 40-60 / Tarkov i'm getting 60-70 fps / Valorant is fine im getting 180+.

Parts
Ryzen 9 3900x
B550 Mobo
3070 Aorus RTX
750 PSU
32 GB ram

Seems a bit low but, there are some settings in RDR2 that chews up alot of FPS. First I would check for is if there is any heat bottleneck in your system, also do a regular benchmark.

What did you upgrade from? a 3070 does not always perform better then a 2080 TI

i benched mark it with haven and i was really good i was averaging 200+ fps. My temps are sitting at 55 for cpu and 65 for gpu cel*. And i recently upgraded from a 1060 evga so it was a really big improvement but doesn't seem like it so far... my CPU load is at 35% GPU at 40% while running RDR

Thats odd, I would assume RDR would be able to consume every GPU out there. I would check if there is any underclock/undervolt going on in the GPU or CPU. What your ram speed and its current clock in BIOS? Also what kind of power supply do you have and did you use individual cable in each slot? 35% CPU usage its pretty much above max load for gaming, unless the rest of the cores are assigned to or doing other tasks.

1080p gaming can rely a bit more on CPU while higher resolution lets the GPU do the job alone, might not be true for every game. Could be whats going on, odd nonetheless
