Yes, this happened. My PC froze with audio glithing out, and little green skulls all over the screen yesterday. I have never seen anything like this. Since this is quite new windows installation (2 weeks) i just formated everything and did a clean install from usb flash. That was today, now it happened again... screen freezing, sound tearing then restart, with quick windows update. Event viewer shows like 60 actions in one second and many more around it. I am not able to decode those. Also wth hell are those green skulls. I had so many crashes with so many causes, but i have never seen green skulls or anything like that on crash.

Thanks

Nothing OCed

crash dump file: C:\Windows\Minidump\051419-9218-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x1B3730)
Bugcheck code: 0x133 (0x1, 0x1E00, 0xFFFFF8001B55F380, 0x0)
Error: DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION
file path: C:\Windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
product: Microsoft® Windows® Operating System
company: Microsoft Corporation
description: NT Kernel & System
Bug check description: The DPC watchdog detected a prolonged run time at an IRQL of DISPATCH_LEVEL or above. This could be caused by either a non-responding driver or non-responding hardware. This bug check can also occur because of overheated CPUs (thermal issue).
The crash took place in the Windows kernel. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver that cannot be identified at this time.

A third party driver was identified as the probable root cause of this system error. It is suggested you look for an update for the following driver: nvlddmkm.sys (NVIDIA Windows Kernel Mode Driver, Version 430.64 , NVIDIA Corporation).
Google query: nvlddmkm.sys NVIDIA Corporation DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION

Update your post to include full system hardware specs and OS

Could be a virus - "little skulls" is not something that a manufacturer would do.

Not something that I have seen anyway......

I would expect an error message or some more constructive way of reporting or showing a problem.

Run a AV scan if at all possible.

You may need to use a USB drive to boot and run the scan.

Sorry, it is a hasty post, i ran new windows install again, and didnt update nvidia drivers and did not connect to my NAS. So far nothing happened.

I have never seen like that either, but later i managed to take a picture with my phone. I ran all scans i could, nothing was found. It was pretty much clean win install with couple of drivers and such. No error message, nothing, just froze with green little skulls, then restarted later on its own.

Specs - nothing OC

Is there any solution for this? Having the same Problem, testen RAM, Stressed CPU, Stressed GPU, temps are as before (system worked fine for about 3 weeks after graphics card swap)

Im helpless on this...
