Hello everyone, I just built my new pc, well I upgraded my CPU GPU and PSU and also got a liquid cooling system
CPU: i7 9700k
GPU: ASUS ROG STRIX 2070 SUPER
MB: z370 gaming plus (I did the bios update)
PSU: Raidmax 735W
anyways Im pretty sure I plugged everything in well but my PC freezes instantly after like 1-2 minutes after starting up, I checked from the bios and the cpu is there and its not overheating, rechecked the cpu plug took out my gpu put it back in,
Im currently in safe mode downloading the GPU drivers I really hope this helps
Please someone help me I can't seem to find what the problem is? maybe my ssd or hdd? because I seemede to have trouble plugging them in
please help

Solution
It was my BIOS all along, I updated my bios to the version which supports 9th generation the first time, but there were other bios updates needed so I installed them and its working now!!
No I didn't do a full fresh intall of winodws I dont think its needed right?
last psu was 450 vs corsair
the sata cables It took my a while to plug them lol
Do I need to reinstall windows and how?

  • Did you do a full, fresh install of Windows?
  • You upgraded to a Raidmax? Good lord, how bad was the last PSU?
  • What kind of "trouble" plugging in your drives?
I replied above, I have a question thought I the front panel ports on the motherboard I didn't really check them I just plugged them randomly, could this be causing the probem?
I didn't consider this at the start because the pc starts up fine
