Question PC freezes and white squares appear on the screen

Hello,

For 2 days now, after I play a game for 10 minutes my PC freezes and white squares appear on the screen.

My specs are the following:
IntelCore I5-6500 CPU @ 3.20 GHz
8 GB of RAM
GeForce GTX 760

I have the computer for 3 years now and did not encounter any issues until now.

I have fallen behind with my hardware knowledge, but maybe someone can help me with this issue? Is my graphics card faulty or could there be another reason?

When I try to open the photo it sais I have no access.
Can you upload the photo here?
Also, did anything change in your computer the last time it was working properly?
Are you sure that your components did not receive any kind of physical damage?

I did not meddle with my computer, and no, it did not receive any damage.
The last significant event was updating the NVidia driver to the latest one, it was in the same day the problems started.

I have now unplugged my video card and checking if I still get the freezes with my integrated graphics card.

usually, artifacts like that are signs of a failing GPU, you might want to remove the GPU and try plugging in your display to the MB and run of IGPU until you get a new card. if you can install that card in another PC that's how you can be sure it is going bad
