Question Pc freezes (game actually) when playing game

So, as the title says my pc freezes within five minutes of starting and playing a game. Pressing the windows button does display the taskbar and pressing Ctrl+Shift+Esc also displays taskmanager icon in the taskbar but it s
dosent disply on the screen except the hanged game.Last time i payed there were no issues but when i turned on my pc after a week or so, this issue occured.The game im trynna play is Watchdogs 2.

My specs are:
i5 6600k
Asus Maximus VIII Ranger
Gtx 1070
16 gb Gskill Aegis
1tb hdd

Look in Reliability History and Event Viewer for error codes and warnings that correspond with the pc freezes.

Use Task Manager or Resource Monitor(either one but only one at a time) to observe system performance:

First, for about 15 minutes after booting up.

Second, while doing "light work"; browsing, reading emails, etc..

Third, while gaming as usual.

Leave the monitored window open but dragged to one side so you can watch what is happening.
