Pc freezing

hi everyone i just build my new pc 3 days ago but every time i install a game and click play the pc just freeze i removed the gpu and same problem everything is up to date i have gtx 680 ftw and my power supply is at 750w core i7 ib and 12 g ddr3 and asus p8z77 v deluxe..any help would be highly appreciated..thank you in advance..

ok i just downloaded metro demo and it worked just fine but not my other games installed from the dvd
