Hello everyone,

I've recently noticed some small sort of lagspikes with my PC. The lighting inside the case "flashes" and these things can happen; camera in discord freezes, discord crashes, Unity crashes, games are not starting, pc slows down for 2-3 seconds.
Specs:
AMD Ryzen 7 5800x
RTX 3070ti
SSD 1tb
16gb ddr4 ram
PSU 750W
3 monitors
I'm now trying to figure out the culprit here. When I do the newegg PSU calculator the system should be around 600w-700w, which makes me think that perhaps the PSU is not enough. I also suspect that the RAM might not be enough, since shortage of RAM can cause all sorts of issues in a PC.
1-2 weeks ago I reinstalled the PC, and since then, more and more of these issues have happened. I have all the newest drivers, I've checked for corrupt windows files, and all seems fine.
Hope anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do here. Appreciate all help.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

PSU 750W
750W is the advertised wattage of the PSU. What is the make and model of the unit and it's age? What did it power prior to the RTX3070Ti? Make and model of your motherboard? BIOS version for your motherboard? Link to your ram kit?

1-2 weeks ago I reinstalled the PC
Do you mean reinstalling the OS or reseating parts? If the former, where did you source the installer from? Did you install the OS in offline mode? Did you install all relevant drivers for your platform in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator?

Hello Lutfij,

PSU:

Corsair RM750 750W (Used it for 15 months, bought new, only powered said PC)

Motherboard is:

ASUS ROG Strix B550-E GAMING (Latest BIOS)

Ram is:

Kingston FURY Beast RGB DDR4 3200MHz 16GB

CL18, 288-pin, DIMM (2x8GB)

When reinstalling I ment reinstalled the OS. Used Windows normal reset function from settings, so I assume I was online. All drivers was installed via software provided from the companies. I.e, Geforce Experience, AMD Chipset Software and Armoury Crate.

Noticed that I got a BSOD just a couple of minutes ago. According to the dumpfile, my JBL Quantum 610 Wireless headset caused it from either bad drivers or the Quantum software itself, so I uninstalled those and no BSOD so far. Although, I don't recieve BSOD's too frequently, they have occured once today and once yesterday.

I am thinking of stresstesting the PC, for the CPU, GPU and RAM. But feels odd that this would be needed when I simply reinstalled it, and it has only been used for 15 months.

Regards,
Victor

Forgot to mention; This specific error in Event Viewer has shown up plenty, plenty of times the last few days. I don't know the exact impact it has on my system. However, it always enters two times.

Have searched online to the best of my ability, tried some rather odd attempts at solving it, but alas to no avail.

Appreciate any help in the matter.
