And i fixed this (and not at the same time) no more beeps after replacing the ram sticks into new slots. unplugged the power cable, pressed the power button 15 seconds, put the powercable back in and turned the PC on. No beeps. I turn on my monitor and nothing shows up but: ''MONITOR IS GOING BACK TO SLEEP'' is all it says. i connected the VGA cable to my HP 2229h monitor and my TV and i also connected my PC with a hdmi cable to the TV but nothing shows at all

No more beeps so that is solved but what is the problem now? I pressed onto random cables to try to get it to stick correctly into its slot on every spot (not just the ram sticks) but im giving up after 5 hours of trying with a headache.

Also have to mention that i cleaned the PC up with a dry towel probably moving/unplugging things and now thats causing the problem but im not sure. After solving the beeping problem that was caused by the ram sticks it should work i think. I also hadn't touched the pc for a around 1-1/2 years before i touched it again and decided to clean it up and try it out again

Let me know what the problem is

Solution
In the first video the memory modules did not appear to be fully and firmly snapped into place.

In the second video, the "upper" ends appeared to be in snapped into place.

Finding out what the beep pattern (which was audible) means is still important and should be done.
HP Compaq desktop dx2400 microtower

I think it was windows 7 and its a 32bit system as i remember

Yes my tv works fine with my PS4 and some other laptop, and i used this HP monitor all the time on my broken PC.

Yes, i tried another one but i don't think its the cable's issue since it works fine on my Playstation 4 and my PC don't work with a regular VGA cable i think its my PC giving this error by not showing display.

If you want to i can upload videos on youtube and show what im seeing on my monitor and i can show the inside of my computer. And my gpu is an ASUS r7240 oc 4gd3 l and my ram goes up to 2GB only because i have 2 sticks of 1GB ram on it

First objective is to find out the meaning of the long beep and short beep pattern.

Found the following troubleshooting guide but not completely certain that it is applicable to your microtower.

1 long beep, 1 short beep not listed.....? (Reference Page 14.)

Beep codes tend to be associated with the motherboard versus the make and model PC.

Here is another HP link to help with troubleshooting:

no display on monitor, but the fans are still working when i turn it on and the PC it self turns on too and it gives a green light at the power button. The CPU fan turned out to have dust in it so i cleaned but there is still no display on the screen after cleaning the CPU.

I made 2 videos and showed my computer and what i see on the monitor after plugging in the VGA cable.
