Hi, I have a pc here (WinXP Pro) that just restarts when I'm using say AutoCad and try and save the file to another PC on the Network.
What can the cause of this be and how do I fix it?

Thanks

Check your Event Viewer logs to see if there's any information that can help track down the problem. Is AutoCad CPU-intensive? Does the PC restart with any other program?

If you right click on my computer and click properties that should bring up System Properties. From there Advanced/ Startup and Recovery/ Settings and uncheck Automatically restart. Now you should get the BSOD (blue screen of death), which might give you info of the cause.

Thanks jiffy, I forget the stuff before that sometimes, since I'm so used to having it unchecked after I do a clean install.
