[SOLVED] PC keeps restarting after upgrading ram

hi my pc keeps restarting after i upgraded it to 32gb. I already tried taking out the cmos battery, testing it out without the graphic cards, reset/update the bios to default. pcpartpicker said that the ram is compatible with my pc.. anyone can help me?

motherboard: h370 hd3
i5 8400
old ram: corsair 16gb (2x8gb) ddr4 2666mhz
new ram: pny 32gb (2x16gb) xlr8 ddr4 3200mhz

Put the old ram back in the machine and make sure everything functions.
Install the latest bios and chipset driver.
Make sure everything functions.
Remove old ram and install one stick of the new ram in the proper slot....test.
If that works remove the stick of ram and install the other new stick....test.

Why the fast ram? Your mobo and cpu will only run at 2666mhz

Why the fast ram? Your mobo and cpu will only run at 2666mhz

so i bought the wrong thing? i want it to be fast so that i could load in stuff easily. i need more ram to play big rust servers

They will work fine, but only at 2666mhz. Your mobo will set the speed for the ram. If it runs at 2400mhz, change the multiplier from 24 to 26,6 if your mobo allows it
