Just use the presented windows.

No need for Command Prompts or Powershell.

Stay out of the registry.

If unsure, then look for other similar links and tutorials.

You should be able to work through the various windows, tabs, etc. beforehand to get a sense of it all.

"Cancel" is your friend.
thank you just tried this this and it didnt work.

Meaning that internet connectivity is still being lost when you play certain games?

Was IPv6 sucessfully disabled?

If not, then what happened or did not happen?

Any error messages, pop-up windows. etc.?

Let's take another look at the host system's network configuration.

Run "ipconfig /all" (without quotes) via the Command Prompt.

You should be able to copy and paste the full results into your next post.

i disabled it and restarted the PC to make sure it was still disabled and upon launched the game my PC would lose connection, I also ran two pings through command prompt like the other guy suggested. And the one that stopped pinging and timed out was the 8.8.8.8

If I read the above post correctly you are saying that the ping stops to 8.8.8.8 BUT it continues to ping to the router IP.

This means we are on the wrong track I suspect. If you can ping the router IP then there is no network issue in your house and the machine itself also can talk to the network.

These type of problem generally are a ISP issue. It is extremely strange that it only does it on a game. Play some 4k video on youtube ....leave the 2 ping windows run when you do this. This should be much more traffic than any game uses.

What can happen is a ISP connection can take errors. The more traffic you run the more errors it takes. At some point the connection will reset itself.

The key issue is errors like this really can't tell the difference between game traffic and other programs like youtube. Both those application transfer data constantly over a longer period of time. The difference is youtube can adjust the traffic rates and uses a buffer to hide data loss. If you see the resolution drop or you get stalls in the video it indicates a issue. Since ping is also affected that should also get loss when you play youtube videos.

There are very complex network things related to port numbers on games not being allowed through a router or NAT. It is not likely the issue since the ping to 8.8.8.8 is being affected and that is using the standard ports for ping.
