Hello,
TL;DR: After working for 2 hours, no signal will be detected on monitor. CPU is good, GPU works on other PC, haven’t tested RAM.
I am helping a friend repair her roughly 5 year old PC. There was a thermal paste problem that I fixed. Then I deleted various files in order to free some space. After, I did some cable management. I accomplished this and decided to put on the backplate. After connecting my friends keyboard, mouse, and monitor (I was previously using my own and I did not change anything or move anything), we pushed the power button to: “No signal detected.”
I tested the GPU on my PC and got a signal and that’s the only thing I have tested thus far. Any one have an idea of what’s happening or how to fix this problem?
