Question PC not getting the correct download/upload speeds

Desktop: PowerSpec G353
Router/Modem: AT&T U-verse Pace 5268AC Gateway Internet Wireless Modem Router
Motherboard: ASRock Fatal1ty Z390 Pro4
Power Supply: CoolerMaster Masterwatt Lite 600 Watt 80 Plus
Wifi Adapter: ASUS PCE-AC56 PCI Wireless Express Adapter
Operating System: Windows 10

My Macbook, LG V30, and iPad all get the expected ~110 Mbps up and down. My desktop usually gets 25-50 up/down over wireless. There are other times where the connection is so slow it can barely load a single webpage. The desktop is a gaming PC I bought a few months ago so it's all new hardware. My old NIC constantly dropped my wireless connection, so I bought this new ASUS one. Even with the old one, I don't think I was getting the speeds I should. Any help on troubleshooting?

Hi and welcome to Tom's forum.

I would suggest as 1st step disable the Bluetooth in your rig. Do you have installed the configuration utility for the wifi adapter right? Could you share with us the configuration please.

I don't see an option to turn Bluetooth off within Windows 10 settings and I don't see it listed in device manager. No button shown in the action center either.

I have the ASUS utility installed for the wireless adapter. Configured for WPA2-Personal using AES.
