Question PC not posting.

Components -


Ryzen 7 3700x
MSI B450M BAZOOKA
XPG D50 Spectrix 2x8 3200mhz
Asus DUAL RTX 3060
EVGA SuperNOVA 650W 80+ Gold Modular
WD Blue SN 530 256gb m.2 2442
Seagate 4tb HDD



Problem -

I realized that in task manager my memory speed was only 2933mhz. so I went into bios to change it to 3200mhz. After I put the xmp profile on at 3200mhz and saved changed and restarted system. It started to give the cpu light.


I then tried T-Force Delta 2x4gb 2400mhz sticks and it still gave the cpu light.

I then tried reseating the cpu and blowing it and the socket with an electric duster, still persists.


Now I’m trying a Ryzen 7 2700x in the system and it worked and turned on and set it to 3200mhz and it worked.(it worked on all 3 motherboards)

I’ve tried the 3700x in the main motherboard
Asus Prime A520M-A II
Asrock x570 Taichi

With rx 580, gtx 980 and RTX 3060

And still no post however there is power.

Is it done for?

Did you clear the CMOS, after disconnecting from the wall and display?

if the processor doesn't work on a known working motherboard, then the processor/it's memory controller has very likely croaked.

How old is the PSU in your build?
