Question PC not reaching POST after BIOS update; CMOS reset doesn't work

Last week I wanted to boot my PC which hadn't been used in over a month, but to no avail. After bringing it to a nearby repair shop I realized the only thing that had to be done was resetting the BIOS. The PC worked again, but I realized that only half of my RAM was being used, with the rest being system-reserved. Because my BIOS was obviously very outdated, I tried upgrading it VIA USB stick. After the update finished, the PC would boot but not reach POST anymore. This is still the situation I'm facing.

I've tried resetting the BIOS both by removing the CMOS battery and draining the power, and by shorting the two CLRTC pins (and also all combinations of the two, i.e doing both at the same time, separately, just turning around the battery, etc.). I've also tried booting the PC with the CMOS battery removed, but the response is the same as with it installed.

Build:
Motherboard: ASUS PRIME X470-PRO
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X
GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1080
RAM: 2x GSkill 8GB DDR4 3200
PSU: nJoy Woden 650
OS: Win10

Thanks in advance.
