Hi! Recently, I managed to buy the last part to a new computer
CPU: Intel Pentium G4560 3.5GHz
GPU: AMD Radeon R7 240 1GB / NVIDIA GTX 760 2GB
PSU: SPC Vero L2 500w
CASE: SPC Regnum RG2
HDD: 1TB 7200RPM Toshiba P300
MOBO: Asrock H110M R.3 DVS
And a few days ago, I come happy home, knowing that the courier brought me a new GPU. Without hesitation, I mounted the card, connected the 8-pin power supply, run everything and ..... surprise. No synagogue. Everything is normal, the computer runs on the integrated card and the old graphics R7 240 1GB, but as soon as it detects that the GTX 760 is connected to the PCIE Express slot, it refuses to obey and does not appear to show the image at all.
I tried to restart the BIOS, I played with different options, but nothing helped. The fan in the GPU comes, so it seems to me that the card should work. As for the truth, I bought it used, however, from the PowerSeller (on the allegro ofc) which had over 6,000 positive comments and 0 negative comments. Reading the Internet, I thought that the power supply might not be able to "power up" the GPU. It is hard for me to state clearly. From the PSU power consumption calculator, it follows that 500w should be as sufficient as possible. Someone something? How do you fix it to make the card work? I do not have any ideas anymore. Unless instead of 8pin power, I would try to buy a 2x molex adapter on 8pin. Unfortunately, it is not very accessible in my area.
