my pc had a overheating problem a while ago with the cpu but after i reapplied thermal paste it went back to normal. now its overheating again throughout the whole pc (with gpu and cpu on equal temps) i tried putting my fans on full power but it doesn't cool it down an inch. what could it be possibly?

Solution
Well, Minecraft can run on a potato so that's not a very helpful indicator. LOL.

So what CPU cooler did you get? And just for the sake of surety, I would double check all those case fans and make certain that the fan blades are facing out on the intakes, blowing in, and that they are facing in on the exhaust fans, blowing out. Easy to accidentally place fans incorrectly. Easy to check to verify that they are not wrong. I'm sure you are right, but always good to double check.

As far as "mounted to the top incorrectly", what, exactly, does that mean? Pictures would be helpful.

With that many fans, if they are correctly mounted, and if you have a CPU cooler that IS capable of handling the TDP of your processor, there are few other...
If going with the H7, I strongly suggest you buy it direct from the Cryostore, it's currently $38. Markups by retailers have gone nuts lately on that cooler specifically, newegg had it listed yesterday at $129.

You can use 2x 120mm in front, I'd move the top fan closest to the front there. If you can remove any of the drive bays, do that too, they block huge anounts of airflow.

He's in Australia. Cryostore isn't an option unless you want to pay about 40-80 bucks in shipping. Plus, might not be able to anyhow with their laws. IDK for sure. It won't be that price though.

So he's limited to a 155mm height cooler. That means he can't use the Phanteks I linked to, can't use any of the Hyper 212 models and is pretty much going to be limited to that H7 if he wants a decent tower cooler.

There is this option, which is better than the 212 EVO anyhow, but probably not nearly as good as the dual fan H7. Still, it should be more than good enough for his CPU configuration if he wants to save a few bucks. And it's just barely short enough.

PCPartPicker Part List

CPU Cooler: Deepcool - GAMMAXX 400 74.34 CFM CPU Cooler ($35.00 @ JW Computers)
Total: $35.00
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

Lol, was just looking at Gammaxx from your list and i see MSY has them for the same price also. MSY have many stores all over the place in AU, hope he has one close to him can just drive there, they also ship. Height dimension 154.5mm, will just make it.

Looks like that is out of stock and there are no prices listed for it in any case. It actually says right on the Newegg AU site, "Not available for Australia"

That H7 is his best choice unless he wants to spend more money. That or the Gammaxx 400. Everything else is either too weak, poor quality, too tall or too expensive. For his region anyhow.
